In the story "John Hamm", the mini pig is revealed to be an industrial pig who will grow upwards of 600 pounds. In the novel "Esther the Wonder Pig: Changing the World One Heart at a Time", there is a similar reveal. Two partners buy what they believe to be a mini pig only to find out that the pig is in fact a large industrial pig. On another note, in the story "John Hamm", Don Dinners, the protagonist, takes his pig to a sanctuary. In "Esther the Wonder Pig: Changing the World One Heart at a Time", the two partners leave the city to found a sanctuary. Other than these two similarities, the stories diverge greatly from each other. As my storytelling strategies utilize the pig as a method for the protagonist to get over his lost love, "Esther the Wonder Pig: Changing the World One Heart at a Time" is a story about two partners becoming closer together in the midst of a challenging situation
